i put a recovery cd in cdrom drive.my computer wont play anything in it now.what can i do.it will not boot up.i tried everything i can think of.got suggestions.i am willing to try anything.

there's a lot of good people here but you need to give us a little more info, what was the original problem...?...and so on.

A recovery CD usually is meant to clean out the computer and restore it to it's origional setting. However some are meant to re-format the entire harddrive. In which case you have to re-install everything. And I mean everything. DOS, Windows all programs. The works.
It would help though, if you tell us what the computer does, now that you have used the recovery Disc.
What it says, displays and the such.

(Note: this advice applies to a PC running Windows. You haven't specified what kind of computer you have.)

It sounds like it trying to boot from the recovery disk in the CDROM drive?

If that is the case, you need to boot from a floppy or the hard drive and run the restoration program on the CD. The recovery disk is probably not bootable.

You may need to change the boot sequence in the setup program. on many computers you have to restart your computer an hit the delete key before it finishes booting.
