a couple of weeks ago i registered with aol for their instant messaging service. a few days later i opened the "my documents" area on my computer and noticed a file titled "filelib". when i opened it there was another file with my new user name but it was empty. on the left side where you would normally find how much space was available in the file and how much was used there was nothing but zeroes. so i deleted it.
a couple of days later it was back and so i figured that i might have just thought that i deleted it so i did it again. a couple of days later and it was back.
the third or fourth time it came back i clicked on properties and found that it wasn't an archived or read only file. nothing was checked so i clicked archive, deleted it again and then emptied my deleted files file. it's back.
anyone have any idea what the hell this thing is and if it's important? if not, how do i get rid of it.
(i'm pretty sure it's a freakin' government plot of some sort)
