I need help re: flight tickets.. emergency.

My ex sis-in-law, I love this kid, was taken to Chicago by her new boyfriend.. to live.. and get away from her fucked up family.

I hate this guy, I've never liked him and she knows this!

He just beat the crap out of her.. I need to fly her home ASAP.. all local travel agencies appear to be closed today (Sunday). I've never purchased flight tickets before.. I don't know what to do, please help.

I'll spend what it takes, I just need to get her here.. and she's thinking Wednesday will be the day she can escape.

Find them here on line, buy them and she can pick them up at the airlines when it is time to take off. We have bought on-line very successfully for the last few years.

Try an online search- could have tickets yet for today although it is getting late in the day for cross country travel.

Can't she just walk out, take a cab to the airport, and leave NOW? Or get her stuff and go to a woman's shelter for a night or two until you can get her home?

Lickerish...we use Orbitz at my office for purchasing tickets. If you are using a credit card that is all you need. It will give you an email conformation number and that is the e-ticket that will allow her to get on the plane.

I've looked at Priceline.com, Orbits, and SWA.com... they all ask for round trip.. I need one way.. I'm sooooo confused.


Chey... we live in Oregon.. she's been in Chicago for like 2 weeks, she doesn't know her way around. The last time he beat her up, he took her last $40 and spent it on himself. I'm going to Western Union her some money today to so that she can get a suitcase (he took her crap up there in a laundry basket!) and have food and taxi fare.

She can't leave right now because he could show up at any moment and prevent her from going.. I don't want to think about what he'll do to her
I could fucking fly there myself and hurt the mutherfucker.

She thinks she needs to leave Wednesday.. it's when he'll be gone for work.

You can contact her local police department. They will send a unit out to help her get a few things together (safely) and then escort her to the airport/bus station.

look up chicago's o'hare airport and somewhere where it should have a list of the airlines that fly in and out of there. Then do the same for the airport she'll be flying to so that you will have a list of airlines. Most of the time you'll be able to look up the airline's homepage from those airport pages. If not, just do a search. Usually there will be an 800# listed on the homepage. If not, again do a search for it using an online directory or even look it up in the phone book.
I know that you would like to buy this ticket today and I can fully understand that, but if you can wait it out until tomorrow morning you could consult a travel agent who might be able to help you further.
It's a terrible situation that you're both in but she's very lucky to have you in her life.

1-800-435-9792 is Southwest Airlines. Depending on where she's flying to, they usually have decent rates.

They fly out of Midway in Chicago.

Call them, explain that you have an emergency situation and they'll work with you.

She thinks she's an hour and a half from Chicago directly.

She isn't really all that far from O'Hare. Should be transfer services to the airport from local hotels in her area is my guess. Or other local limo service (van)

If you have a local small scale airline carrier talk to them, explain the situation, they are given buddy passes to utilize, it may be possible that they will give you one of theirs considering the situation and let you purchase your ticket that way at a fraction of the cost and it will get her on a plane immediately.

I say this because a last minute ticket will be full fare and hugely expensive. Just an option to help with the cost.

My ex works for Delta, if there is something he can answer let me know. Good luck to her and you are wonderful for running to her aide.
