I Need a Prayer thread

My cousin's teenage daughter shot herself yesterday. They've kept her on life support in order to make decisions about organ donation. My cousin is in fragile health and I don't know what this will do to her. Her girls are her life. Please, prayers for my cousin and family?

Thank you everyone. They moved her to Detroit Childrens and did surgery yesterday. They went in to remove bullet fragments and found that the front part of her brain was destroyed. The prognosis is bleak. It's likely that her current (unconscious) state is the best it's going to get. They have some difficult days yet to come. I'm very sad for all of them. I appreciate your continued prayers for their strength. Hugs!!!!!!

Can't think of any words to offer for comfort cause there are none that can ease such pain.

Thank you! She is getting an advocate to help deal with hospital red tape. Apparently the surgeon never met with either parent after surgery on Wednesday. I thought that was weird because they normally do. She really needs to hear from him---his impressions, what he saw, etc. She need it.

Yes, they have some hard things to think about and decide. My cousin is being rather pragmatic however. She is thinking quality of life.
