serene I tried to send you a PM but you are full.... We are hoping that they can do the Davinci method on me too but because of my size may have to do open... big difference in hospital time and recovery....

My sister's grandbaby is doing great responding to the antibiotics. My co-worker's husband is scheduled for surgery next week. And I spent a day at the hospital yesterday for tests. Sig other went with but he is not much comfort and does so out of obligation.... But it is what it is.

May you all who need prayers and comfort feel His presence at your side and have peace in your heart. As a side note, the hospital where I am having surgery is sponsored by Seventh Day Adventist. It is so comforting to hear "God bless you" or "I will be praying for you" from staff and even the valet.... and such a different atmosphere there....other hospitals and even businesses shy away from that in fear of offending someone - such a shame...

Yes, big difference in hospital and recovery and aesthetics. It is just like four or five miniscule incisions and I was able to exercise shortly after surgery but could not drive for a couple of weeks. And not having painful periods is so freeing! No longer planning trips and such around the almighty period, lol. The only thing I miss is being able to get pregnant...I mean, we have six children all together-his, hers and ours that we all raised together since they were toddlers, but I wanted to have one more-seven is a lucky number...and then I like the whole "Baby, you fucked me so damn good I think I am knocked up" lmao! Counting down on that calendar

Watched the sunset at the beach and reminded myself that God who created all that beauty made and loves me too and wants the best for all of us. when we persist in prayer He listens and responds...in unexpected ways quite often bt always in love.

I praying that my blood tests are good this time round but if not then I know there will be answer somewhere.
Praying for peace for the families of the British soldiers killed in afghanistan, this week, such sadness over and over is just hard to bear. Pray that the people who see violence as a way to win can be turned away from their path of evil.

Today I got into a heated argument with a fellow attorney during a meeting....I couldn't go to sleep tonight because I was " stewing" over what he said, what I should have said....but after reading prayer requests such as this one, well, it puts everything in perspective, everything.

I can't even imagine the feeling a person has when being told that a loved one has just been diagnosed with cancer.

My thoughts and prayers go out to this family...

There IS power in prayer, of that I have no doubt. There ARE such things as miracles. And, I know that prayers are answered, just not always as we'd hope them to be. We are not in charge. We simply need to believe.

Not everything can been seen, but it's there, and waiting for us. Have faith.

And Cinner - my heart especially goes out to you. I went through the infertility process so many years ago. I was not successful but they didi not have the wonderful medical knowledge they do today and yes miracles happen... May God be close with you

My best friends nephew was in a horrible car crash the other night.

He is in ICU with 7 broken ribs, a fractured hip, broken nose, lacerations and contusions and torn aorta. He is going in for surgery tomorrow.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I know this feeling well and you are right; there is nothing like it. Joe is a GREAT guy and he and his family do not deserve the terror that goes with a diagnosis such as this. I pray not only for Carol's eventual full recovery, but for freedom from fear for her and for the entire family affected by this. I pray for the peace that passes all understanding for you all.
