I Need a Prayer thread

Even though my father has been gone for 46 years and we were never that close as he was not a loving father - this weekend caused me to reflect on him. I am told I look just like him. Prayers for all of us who are missing our fathers.

I am also asking for prayers for my daughter. She has chosen a life of drugs and abandoned her four beautiful children. My heart aches. The man she has chosen to be with has forbidden her to contact us. My significant other - her daddy - waited all day for that phone call.

May all of us have peace and calm in our lives through prayer and the power of prayer from others. Thank you

ladance : Lord, You are the source of healing. The hearts of ladance and her loved ones need to be filled with your faith so that they can graciously accept Your healing. This family needs Your presence - be near them and help her mother to stand bravely.

Kingofmycastle : Lord, during these difficult economic times, I ask that you are as gracious to Kingofmycastle as you are to many. Renew his confidence and his spirit. Have mercy and help him to find work so that he may provide financial support for himself and his family. Be a constant for him as some doors close and others open to new opportunities.

tweetygal : Lord, I ask that you touch tweetygal's daughter and deliver her from the life she's chosen. I pray that she finds the victory over this obstacle. Guide her away from negative influences to a facility that will transform her life and place her back into the lives of her own children. Help her to see that her angels need her as a stable foundation in their lives. Bless her with the strength to take the first step toward rehabilitation. Give tweetygal and her family Your blessing of hope during these trying times.

Thank you both for prayers and thoughts. As a mother I will of course always worry and want what is right for her. But those beautiful bright children deserve so much better. I have sent her emails and texts all day with no answer. At least the other grandmother keeps in touch with me and the kids are with her - on a 60 acre farm. So hopefully they will be spared from all the drama.

The young son of a friend of mine was hit in the head by a baseball at a professional baseball game. They found some bleeding on the brain. It is a small area but the doctors are very concerned.

Just an update...........he was in the hospital for 2 days for observation. The bleeding is slight and the swelling (which he had some swelling) has gone down. He is now home but his activities are restricted.
