Three things:
1. Did you ever stop to consider the start of "Dances with Wolves", a serious movie, starts the same way as F-Troop?
2. Did you know that Wrangler Jane (Melodie Patterson) was 16, playing the love interest of 32 year old Ken Berry. Convincingly I might add. They didn't make sixteen years olds like that a few years later when I was 16!
3. It wasn't until I was older, I realized the Indians were all played as New York Jews.
"Professor and MaryAnne," of course duh!MarshAlien said:2. Do you prefer the "and the rest" version or the "the Professor and MaryAnne" version?
Mmmmm, Maryanne.
