I need a muse. I need someone, preferably female, to discuss my stories with. I am specifically looking for feedback on how this person thinks female characters would react in given situations. I am stuck on several of my stories and I need some intelligent discussion to spark me back on track. You would have to read my works in progress to understand the characters and then discuss motivations, actions, and reactions based on the scenarios I put forth. You don't have to write story material. I'm not trying to con you into writing stories with or for me. I'll write the stories, but you'll be my foil.

The stories I am currently working on have female characters ranging from: a determined and haughty English lady bent on revenge and struggling to control her nymphomania, the Russian student she saved from the mines who now serves as her bodyservant, a young woman very determined to become an excellent submissive, and the older woman who is afraid she might be replacing her. These are just a few. I try really hard to write characters that aren't sterotypical, that are motivated by believable goals and emotions, that aren't unthinking doormats. Sometimes it's hard.

So, if you're interested, PM me.

Welcome to AH! :)

We just had a discussion about this very thing-- how a lot of the women here would prefer to get to know any guy before she gets into personal details about her sexuality... We got kinda pissy with your recent predecessor.

So, how about introducing yourself and getting to know some people? :rose:

... Why does she think she's a nymphomaniac? Doesn't she know that diagnosis was dropped as meaningless, around 1970? Here are a couple of links for you... The Straight Dope and a review of Carol Groneman's book on the subject

I have to say, I love the idea that she does think so. Makes her a bit of a hypochondriac.

Stella is our official gate-keeper. She hangs out front of AH like the schizophrenics who sit in front of the city library, chattering and gabbering nonsense.

And JamesBJohnson is our resident crank. :p

Stella_Omega helps keep this forum civil and often provides thoughtful suggestions. I might not always agree with her, but she makes good points.

True. At this point, men or women with such needs would worry that they were "sex addicts."

Given the story is set in a pre-1970's steampunk milieu "nymphomanic" seems like a perfectly acceptable catch-phrase to summarize her condition. It's all laid out in Abigail Forsythe and Vampires of Covasna. The link should be in my sig. I'm working on the next story in this line: Abigail Forsythe and the Aetherships of Mercury. The other story is a continuation of a story line I've established in The Visit and the two Seeking for Pleasure stories.

I've been writing for a while and publishing here on Lit for a year or so. I normally post stories, offer the occasional feedback in discussion of stories, and play in SRP. I think my profile and my work really make a nice start of introducing me. I'm not asking for women to discuss personal details of their sexuality, though I can see where discussion might go that way. I'm asking for someone who's willing to read my works in progress and have ideas bounced off them. Hopefully I'll find someone who enjoys this rather than considering it a chore. :)

Welcum, Dude.

Now let me see... A Muse... Okay...

Two jockeys and a donkey walked into a bar...
