I'm lying here, stoned, listening to music and masturbating. The song "Heroes" by Roni Size is playing on my stereo, and I can feel it through my whole body, full and bassy. The idea for an invention materializes in my mind.

I want a dildo that has a vibrating component that plugs into the stereo, and is able to express the entire range of the song in differing vibrational intensities.

Will someone please build it for me?

<going back to masturbating. Just didn't want to forget before I wrote the idea down>

I already have it ready for you. Please forward a shipping address.

Ooooooh! I want one too!:D

Great idea by the way, SLG.

That is great! You'd have to reduce the frequency logarithmically, I think, to keep it within an appropriate range--but if it would still feel right, that would be awesome. I'd want one.

You might be able to make one without the logarithmic reduction yourself, actually; I saw a device somewhere that attaches to any hard, flat surface and makes it a speaker. Put a hard, flat backing on a dildo and let me know how it feels!

A less complicated version might be a water proofed speaker. It wouldnt matter if it was overdriven much, as you want the vibration not the clarity.

I've seen bed vibrators that attach to alarm clocks, but they only work like a buzzer. Maybe if they responded to other voltages, half the work is already done. ;)

*Putting on lab coat* There's going to be a lot of research and development going on here.

I want one, too! And I think I know just who to ask to build it for me! :D

Great idea, slg!

Clap On, Clap Off...Clap on...on...on...!!!

I worked on a vibrator project a year or so ago that incorporates fuzzy logic with an easy to use variable intesity control to remember your favorite patterns in a memory selector for future use.

I'd think that much in the same way that a telephone converts voice to pulses and disco lites can respond to music that a vibrator with a chip could respond to music or voice commands with off the shelf technology.

I'm willing to be an impartial observer to make sure it does what it's supposed to.:D

Which conversation with who in what thread? I haven't been following much, actually.

Who is censurious?

it was he conversation I had with him in my thread, no?

why does he have a censurius effect on people?

it confounds me

Wooohoo! My husband just got home and he's great with making stuff electrical and he's agreed to make me one! I'll let you know how it turns out!:D

A dildo/vibrator that varies with music (or other input) wouldn't be a bad idea. I can think of an even better one; a vibrator that is programmable.

It is tempting, but I would think (from my experience in medical devices) that these would be considered a medical device (they do go inside the human body) - so they would be regulated by the FDA. Anybody know one way or the other?

Pretty much all your vibrators go in, STG, why would this one require regulating that the existing models don't? I can't see any basis for the distinction unless and until you claim medicinal benefit - that's when your FDA sits up and makes you file forms.
