I'm leaving here in a little while, and some good info would do...

Ever since I saw Being John Malkovich, I haven't enjoyed new releases...Just old Videos...

Tough and Deadly

Roddy Piper
Billy Blanks

You get what you pay for.

Another Roddy Classic

Immortal Combat!

A real hoot, but he has that boyish charm.

the best piper flick is hands down -- They Live

also rent Jim Jarmusch's Down by Law if you can find it

Immortal Combat? Roddy Piper flicks? Saving Silverman? They Live?

He said a good movie. What the hell is wrong with you? Those aren't good movies. They're edited entertainments. They're not actually MOVIES. What did your mother teach you?

"You Can Count On Me".
"Almost Famous".

Sorry, MisUnderstanding...

I'm leaving for maybe a couple shots of Johnny Walker Black and a Bud at a Lounge, then to a theatre...Thanks everyone...Speaking of Jaramusch...Have you seen Lenningrad Cowboys Go America?...He's in it...Fucking Hilarious Movie...Has some Subtitles...

Sorry DCL, but GOOD movies go way over my head.
Momma taught me that ice gets in the way of wiskey.
Demian I second the motion.
Think I'll go put on some good music.
Not Styx though.
It's over my head too!

A really good film I saw recently was called "Taxi", it's a french film full of action and comedy with a great ending, if you can stand subtitles this is a great film and they've just released a sequel that I'd love to see.

I'm surprised Hollywood has'nt got hold of this film and ruined it just like they did with "Nikkita".

Oh we will. Cause that's what we do. Take all the good, good stuff from over THERE and make bad, bad stuff over HERE. Naughty Americans. They all eat hamburgers and obsess over tits and watch sit-coms. Americans bad. LOL

What happen? Someone force feed you with McDonald's burgers as a toddler?

DCL-

I'll grant you the Loggerman one, though you should check out Hotel Lobby before it closes, but almost famous please, what self-congrating, pretensious crap.

and They Live is brilliant

LOL, eewwww Big macs are nasty, you must admit though they did make a dogs dinner of nikkita though, the French one is soooo much better.

If you LOVE "The Sapranos"

I HIGHLY recommend "Panic." William H. Macy was TERRIFIC!!! So was Donald Sutherland. The rest of the cast was pretty good, as well.

Thanks Everone...

Outsider-I'm going to look for it...I love movies with subtitles because they bring up stuff that Americans just will never get...I still haven't seen Ran! Why? I dunno'!...I just saw Amarcord for the first time...Huzza!

Lavender...Believe me, I'll ask...

Dixie...we'll talk...

Thanks again...I'm off for Johnny, Bud, and a Shoooooooow...:)

Have a good time and have drink for me, I'm stuck in the land that beer forgot tonight....bummer.

In England?

I'm dying to hear the explanation of that one!

Well, maybe not dying...

You Sound Strangely Familiar...

Maxus Craned...I challenge you to a Duel...Later, after some "Good" whiskey...Ouch:eek:

Typo

meant markov chain...

I'll join in that drink and a fight in the alley if you'd like!
Loser buys the next round.

Have At You!...

But first, a sip shall I share of this fine cheap wine...Then to the Battle!

Nice to see Lavy recommending a couple of British movies :D

If you like action and don't mind subtitles, the two best Jet Li movies ever made are Fist of Legend, and Once upon a Time in China part 2.

If you want something more European look for another British movie called Croupier.

My number one movie to see right now in theatres is "Made", a JOn Favreau movie....

Isn't planet of the apes coming out this weekend?

Yeah. I liked the original. Probably gonna see this movie, just to see how Tim Burton does it.
