I need a bit of assistance, here, please!

I have made my mother a beautiful Mother's Day card. However, I want to include a short verse and can't seem to put one together.

My muses have been permanently on strike for about six months now!

Hi Debbie!

IT was okay. The oldest child has the flu....so dear old mom came over to let me get out of the house for a bit and pick up a few necessities.



See? Isn't she wonderful? The kids own dad wouldn't drive six miles to free me up to get crackers and ginger ale.....geesh!
