I must confess,
you'd eventually find out anyway,
I almost slipped into your cup of coffee the other day.
The aroma was sweet ....... the beans so dark.
It was early morning my eyes were still half shut
Who could blame me for walking on the rim
Dipping my pinky in from time to time
Taking such chances in testing the temperatures
I only did well ............ in catching myself in time
Catching myself before my whole body fell in
Like the milk and beans before
I almost slipped into your cup of coffee, sorry!
