I msut clean my house--it looks like a hurricane hit here. If someone broke in and I had to shoot him/her and the asshole was dead, I would drag the body outside before calling the police.

I am rather serious.

I am going to log off now, but will probably be goofing off here again--can some of y'all give me some incentives as to why I should finish the job?

I am so discouraged.

come pick me up and I will clean the house for you

want a clean house?

fear that your (clean) freak, nit picking mother in law is going to visit (unexpectadly).. always works for me.. my house is hardly ever messy.. unless ofcourse i know she is out of town and there is no way she will drop in.. *lol*

That works for me Freakygurl, my house is only clean because my Mom is visiting. Invite someone over, then you'll have to clean it. :)

If only I were there and you had one of those cute French maid outfits, you might find housework to be much more fun :p

my mom lives with me (she's disabled).. she raised me.. she knows i'm a slob.. i have no worries.. *lol*

If you were closer--maybe within 5 hours, I'd might actually take you up on that!!!

I did 30 minutes of it--resting--it is super hot in here--my main ac is out and the temp is 95 in my living room--this makes it much more difficult--I slept all day so I should be able to accomplish something late this evening when the outside air is much cooler.

In 8 minutes, I will log off again and go to the bedroom to organize some stuff in the AC before heading back to the kitchen.

Sheesh.

When my kid was small, I was really picky about a lot of stuff. And when I had a room mate, I never le things get this bad.

I do know that inviting people over is the key--perhaps I could enlist my sister's help. Hell, I owe her 100$--maybe telling her to come over to get it would entice her into helping me.

Now, tell me why is it that I have no problem keeping my office clean at work but my house is a pigsty?

All right--back to work--I have stopped sweating now--

Any forms of encouragement are appreciated.

(Well, WriterDom, I am not so sure about that FrenchMaid's outfit--that might be a humiliation punishment for me if I don't finish!)

It sounds like you're getting it done Blondegirl, don't get overwhelmed. :)

Freakygurl, like everything, that sounds better and worse...ah life...:)

Well, the whole idea is the interruptions. You might have 3 hours of housework, but it ends up taking 6. But a lot more fun.

i thought you were doing housework.

:p

I am. My bedroom and kitchen actually look very different.
Now, the living room, well......

We will see... My kid just got home--heh heh heh--slave labor.

Now, where is that whip?

DAMN!

The cleaning kicked up my allergies so bad that I could not sleep--the breathing was very difficult last night--I can mouth-breathe okay as long as I am sittin up or standing, but laying down? Nope, no way. I gave up at 7:40 and got out of bed.

At least it is Sunday and I can nap after church.

{Sigh.}
