As Eddie, I not only showed cool but I also showed a bit of class, taking your little jabs without striking back. I did it because I always pegged you as having emotional problems.

In fact, when I did get personal, I replied to you in private, something you never gave me or a lot of others the courtesy of.

Well, I ain’t letting this one slip by, cant. Not in my final post.

Humor takes two. It takes one to deliver it and it takes one to understand it. Perhaps I don’t have much wit, I don’t know. On the other hand, perhaps my wit just goes over your head. Again, I don’t know.

I do know that if you can’t give a true compliment then you can always just keep your fucking mouth shut.

How nice to be missed and missed by such a terrific group.

And the smooches. They’ll give me sweet dreams for a while.

Fact is folks, that I am having to devote more time to work these days and don’t have time to keep up with the boards.

As some of you know, Awful Arthur is my alter who writes a bit but doesn’t post. Long story. AA is going to continue to write some and may post occasionally, but I expect this to be my last post as Eddie.

Also, I think maybe it is time for me to dock this boat. As much fun as it’s been, I’ve sailed these waters enough. Please think of Eddie spending his days dancing the Shag with a beer in one hand and a lovely wench in the other at the Spanish Galleon or Duck’s or Fat Harold’s down in Myrtle Beach. He would like that.

I will still lurk now and then and I am leaving Edward Teach active so please feel free to contact me. I promise to answer.
