Didn't I say the exact same thing, only transposed into the 2nd person?

How does your very first ever driver's license photo look?

The same as everyone's - ridiculous!

I'll show a copy when I get it. They don't actually MAKE them until you pass the test, so I'll get it in the mail in 3-4 days. Until then, I have a piece of paper that says I can drive anywhere within Sweden.

So, sorry, ABS... :cathappy:

Actually, we don't have toll booths in Sweden. We pay for it through taxes. One trouble less... :nana:

We have them over here soon enough...

Congrats, Svenska! Do you have a car anywhere nearby? One you can borrow or someting? Because if not, the same might happen to you that happen to me. I got my lisene, thought "cool!" and didn't get into a car for four weeks. When I finally got around to it, I had completely forgotten how to drive.

If you forgot it in just 4 weeks, you didn't really learn. That's intensive courses for ya... http://www.pollyjuice.se/Smileys/nono.gif

Here in my car
I feel safest of all
I can lock all my doors
It's the only way to live
In cars

Here in my car
I can only receive
I can listen to you
It keeps me stable for days
In cars

Here in my car
Where the image breaks down
Will you visit me please?
If I open my door
In cars

Here in my car
I know I've started to think
About leaving tonight
Although nothing seems right
In cars

CAR? What stinkin' car? Svenskaflicka is way too cool to drive a car, unless it's a Hummer. She's definitely truck driving material, sort of a blonde, Gretchen Wilson,

You don't need no wax job, you're smooth enough for me
If you need you oil changed I'll do it for you free
Oh baby, the pleasure would be all mine
If you let me drive your pickup truck and park it where the sun don't shine

Big congratulations Svenska! Yaaaay! :nana: :nana:
Now you need to stay out of trouble for the next couple of years so they won't make you retake both the theory and practical. For me it was easy, I went to study in UK and only drove in the summer when home. LOL

You got a point there, lady. I've been given one or two in my day, and truth be told, they damn near owned me. :)

Don't you think COLOR=red might have been more appropriate than COLOR=Magenta, Sv'a? It is the accepted international colour for DANGER. And pehaps dancing traffic police, rather than bananas?

PS. My ex- took eight tries to pass and still doesn't know left from right when driving.

PPS for Bishonen - Since Svenskaflicka is such a long name, I was given permission to call her Sv'a a long time ago.

Congratulations, but you know, it's weird. A driver's license is such an essential thing in the US that we take them for granted. Everyone has one, and it does double duty as your basic ID card.

We take Driver's Eductaion in school, and when you're 16, it's a right of passage when you're taken to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and get your learner's permit. Then when you're seventeen, you get your license.

I still remember the old days, when you were taken for your driving test and you left a $20 on the seat for the Inspector. Of course, that was Chicago.
