I'm working on leather now too. I'll have to post mine.

When my playmate and I were still just chatting I told him about all the floggers and toys I've made and he asked me to make a special flogger just for him. The design came into my head imidately of what his flogger should look like, the proble was I'd never done anything other than rope floggers before. But I got the materials and I gave it my best shot and hoped he'd aprove. Well he does. *giggles* and it's actually been used on me quite a bit already and it's held up great. I told him I was worried about it holding up, and he proceded to pull on the falls and say "nah, this is very sturdy. It'll last for years. You did very good." I'll get a pic when I get home from work.

Oh yeah that's be beauty of those dowels. less than $2 and I made one flogger, a set of over the door restraints and have two flogger handles cut and ready to go.

okay as promised some pics of my first flogger like this.

I kinda think the falls are too long, but he likes the length. Oh and I'm not sure how well it shows up, but the falls have pony beads on them. The number of beads varies from fall to fall but they each have between 2 and 4 beads placed in no particular spot other than they all have one at the end. I strung the beads on then tied a knot, so the beads can move up and down between the two knots, some times a short distance, some times half the length of the fall.

It has a very nice heavy thud but then the beads give it a stinging aftershock like. I love the feel of it.

mine is a very heavy thud with a stingy sort of aftershock. *giggles*

and it does leave pretty marks. The beads leave me all speckled.
