Possibly.
I began doing the writing and lay-out some time ago.
There are certain "risks" in publishing, just as there are for me posting here.

I vacillate.

A small run vanity press print?
That could be kept subtle. ;)
Or do I buy new print cartridges and bind my own?

Would be silly to have you sign my Kindle e-book edition! :D

yes, small lulu or something like it. I have used them before in making prototypes.
It is still very risky.
I wouldn't recommend a hand assembled one. it is currently at 256 pages.
though I also worked on an alternative, in which I busted it up into 6 volumes, though that would be more expensive all told...

I wasn't being serious about printing out my own. ;)
I'll wait for the real thing.
I can be very patient when it's something worth waiting for.......:devil:

much proofing of text still, and some illustrations to add.

I used to design catalogs in Quark, but that was many years ago and Quark became so expensive that I did not upgrade my copy. I have used InDesign to publish a book a few years back.

It's a much bigger project than I first imagined. Years of thought and compilation so far. Wow. :rose:
And I cannot proof my own work, my brain will see what it's supposed to say and not always what it says.
I also have issues with being concise. :eek:

I am pretty bad at proofing..and writing!:D
But for *this* it is less of an issue, as it is meant to be a "barfing" of ideas and concepts and images. Not really for "public" consumption. I'd just like to be able to compile all of this as an archive.
 
hmmm... looks like I pretty much tapped out for illustrations... except for the more "fine art" sort, which are too identifiable. I suppose I'll have to make some new ones.
 
I got a battery for my watch today. Only $6 installed... not to bad.
I've done the replacement myself on other watches, but this one looked like I might risk scratching the case. And heck the batteries cost about $4 anyway.

I like the concept better with some dark atmosphere... Another concept that I might revisit and do some more realistic lighting> screens as source, and shadowing accordingly.

I also like how this messes with the reality vs fantasy of my life.

hmmmm...
hardly an equitable situation. 7pm and no message (e-mail, voice mail, post-it, text...) about where-abouts or dinner plans. I left a message on her cell.

I am sure it is due to an emergency.:rolleyes:

7:45pm
8:30pm
9pm (sent another text, as the call just went to voice mail, which she never checks...may not know how)
9:30 now... she called and I asked if she was in the emergency room.
her reply "I was at the retirement party. didn't you get my text?" (nope..didn't even know there was a date set)

:rolleyes:


I should have stayed at work and kept tinkering with the Mothership drawing.
