Depending on the day, I cook for anywhere between 2-6 people. The inlaws are often with us for dinner.

I cook my ass off for people that appreciate it. :D

I am an excellent cook! But it's hard to get motivated to cook when you're on your own.

Tonight's menu served by me in your choice of attire...

Appetizer - Fresh shucked oysters on the half shell served with a spicy horseradish dip and lemon juice

Salad - spring greens with a pear infused vinagarette. Home made croutons

Main course - Shrimp scampi... Large prawns sauteed in a butter garlic (big cloves of garlic) olive oil sauce with shaved romano and parmesan on top of angel hair pasta and button mushrooms.

Dessert - We'll leave that up to you ;)

That sounds delicious!!

I'm serving up an antipasto platter for my appetizer

Grilling steaks with a roasted garlic/terriyaki marinade for my main course

Fresh green beans and red potatoes on the side

Strawberries and whipped cream for dessert :)

I can cook, been doing it since I was young
In fact this is a drive by post,
I'm in the midst of food prep
for birthday bash tomorrow
I'm expecting 30 people!

In fact, I love men who can cook... in a purely manly way of course.

I wonder if Emeril is married...

LOL.. I was just saying I like to cook on the rich ppl thread. I'm not rich, I'm poor actually but commenting on the rich. :)

There is nothing like a homemade meal. It is one of the things that makes a house a home. Makes it a place that can't be duplicated, perfect for you.

I have homemade macaroni & cheese and barbecued chicken with my own barbecue sauce in the oven as we speak. Anyone can cook...it just takes a lot of trial and error.

And the ability to read recipes. :D
