I just saw The Recruit

From the trailers I had no desire to see this picture but my buddy talked me into it this afternoon. Well . . . It was just okay. I'm wishing I had waited for it to come out on video. And then waited for it to leave the new release shelf and move into the regular discount stacks.

What was wrong with it? No action, no hot women, and Pacino doing his increasingly tired shtick.

I didn't mind Colin Farrell, though. He's turning into an actor to look out for.

Agreed on Pacino. I still havnt figured out why some people enjoyed Scent of a Woman.

Farrel doesnt do much for me as he only seems to act with his eyes and mouth. No detail, no vibe. But my exposure is limited so I'll give the dude a shot.
