steamed Veggies
a nice salad

and 2 glasses of savingnon blanc wine - (From california)

It sounds wonderful, especially when compared to my pesto and garlic bread that I'm planning on, but still hasn't appeared.:)

I had grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Hmm..what kind of wine would one have with that?

are you expecting it to materialize out of thin air??? or are you making some as you type here?

nothing like good garlic bread though.

well.....

the soup is highly salty...so you need a strong full wine....maybe a Cabernet or even a Merlot.

Stick with Chelean...they work well and are cheap...:D

meal sounds great - I haven't eaten yet just got home from a night's drinking and trying to decide what to cook - something quick and easy or something really nice.....

lol, no. I've been cooking for myself since I was ten, I learned a long time ago that it doesn't just appear, especially when you're a woman.:) I've just been too busy, but I'm on my way, thanks.

My parents made sure that i could cook early....so they didn't have to do it all the time..:D

I do most of the cooking at home....I just have too much fun doing it..

have fun..:)

it all tastes the same, now doesn't it?
-smirk-

But the ripple costs only a dollar less than some really good Chelean wines.....why drink the crappy stuff...if you can have good wine.

BTW...I'm a chap wine....snob...:D

Ripple.

<shudder>

Do they even still make the stuff? Ohhh.. how about a good Thunderbird? I hear August was a good month. :D

Your dinner sounded yummy MM.

I don't eat much starch these days.....Don't worry...I miss it horribly...:(

*whew* That's a relief. I was beginning to wonder about you *grin*

Actually, I need to cut way back on the refined carbs. I've switched to brown rice and WW spaghetti, make bread from freshly ground flour, etc. I guess I ought to cut back on starches like you have, would probably be healthier....but I'm doing the best I can.

I started Atkins about 2 months ago....

There are some great things about it...but i miss some things so much...

I have't had any bread or rice or potatoes in all that time...I feel great...but sometime the temptation is almost unbareable

I'm not a big fan of seafood, but that sounds good.

Perhaps because my dinner tonight consisted of a plate of Tostino's Pizza Rolls.

Hey, I want to be on Atkins, but I'm broke and they were on sale.
