It helped.

Does anyone else do this? Go outside and just scream when the entire world seems about to crash and you are the bumper?

I do and it helps.

Only when I have sex.

just kidding, well no but...

I do scream into my pillow when I am upset or frustrated and can't vent anywhere else. It's good to just yell my lungs out some times.

Not a good scream, but another stress reliving technique. No not that (which I guess means I have two then :p )

I take out a large soft pillow and just beat the stuffing out of it. Punch, kick, elbow, and just all out abuse the bejesus out of it. Then when I'm completely out of breath, can't lift my arms, and the poor pillow looks like a gang of rabid dogs played tug-o-war with it I feel better :)

Why did you feel the need for a good scream?

Just too much of life's bad just happened in the last 7 days. Not enough good.

I ran out of tolerance.

I hope it gets much better for you, K.

I might consider it if I didn't think the neighbors would call the cops.

Who doesn't? If there's no screaming during sex then someone's not doing something right.
To go outside and just scream, hell no I'd get arrested.

I wondered what that noise was outside my window. I thought it was a truckload of chickens colliding with a truck load of empty beer cans.

I'm not one to become vocal when I'm upset. I usually just cry privately.

I usually go to the beach and throw rocks, lots of rocks.

Kbate, I hope you're feeling some relief.

I'm sorry that you're having a bad week, I hope that things get better and I hope that some resolution to these problems comes about.

I understand that well though, there's a certain cumulative effect to bad things happening, somehow they become worse than the sum of their parts. It is very frustrating, depressing, and angering because you feel that you are overburdened, in trying to deal with one you are confronted by another and you have a hard time making any impact upon any of them. I hope things get better for you and I'm sure others here feel the same way.

Strangely the only thing that has actually happened to me is my luggage being lost on Sunday, while an annoyance it is actually a minor thing.

Sarah's mother died and now my closest friend's father is dying; I am running out of empathy and ability to feel.

Sarah told me today she has to leave for perhaps 6 weeks to work hurricane relief.

This should be in a PM shouldn't it?

I understand, things tend to just compound upon each other and get worse, and having several serious things happen on top of several minor annoyances creates an unpleasant mix.

I'm sorry that you're having a rough time.

To the last part: probably.
