... who works in retail.

:D

A customer returned an Ouija Board because it did not work.

;) ;)

Maybe I should return my drone. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to do anything other than imitate a Kamikaze...

I have two of them.

I also have a bunch of helicopters.

Half are for indoors only and the others are for outdoors, but they are not the great big ones...

:D

I don't want them to end up as targets for every redneck in the neighborhood. Hell we launch those balloon lanterns every Fourth of July and they even shoot at them!

I have a drone too...

This is the future.

People will need to develop some skills about piloting them, and, they will keep on getting more and more advanced.

Even the small 'toy' ones are not really toys at all, and can serve to give you a platform to develop some skills with.

I live on a sea coast where is there is a lot of wind, and we had a large national company use one over Christmas right on the beach here - and it was amazing, completely stable in a very stiff breeze.

The most basic step to flying your average drone is to make sure you can have it hover a few inches above the ground in front of you and then start to control it so that it can make simple circles, forward and back, and then landing with a small bump or hop. Once you know how to have it fairly stable and under small movement control in the 'hover' state, you will soon be able to pilot it around quite effectively.

Don't try to exceed the limits of what can be done into a strong wind, if you are not already very experienced.

I just don't seem to have a subtle touch...

:D

... as soon as it is hovering, anything else I touch sends it screaming off into infinity.

:nana:

I don't get the appeal, other than taking pictures or videos.
Must be a guy thing..

Once I learn how to fly the indoor drone, then the other one is set up for video and pictures.

;) ;)

That could be a lot of fun. I'm hoping to get Princess involved because she is studying in media and has always been in love with photography...

So she's a bit of an artist… :)
Those are the hardest careers nowadays when only businness persons or entrepreneurs or those or those who make more money than the rest' are valued.
