I just did something really stupid

I called a guy I was dating over the summer, who ended things by not calling me back. He called me a few weeks ago at a very bad time in my life. I was very mean to him (and rightfully so, I think), and he apologized for everything and explained why.

I hadn't spoken to him since, but tonight for some reason, I wanted to talk to him. I called him. He wants to see me.

It would be easy to resist if he didn't look like Vin Diesel with bigger muscles.

I guess I was just feeling lonely, and I called someone who I knew would be happy to hear from me.

I don't think it was stupid at all, especially if you had a craving to talk to him. Maybe it's like when you crave ice cream it's cuz your body needs calcium? Maybe he's just what you need right now.

You two may have a point, but I can't help but think that this guy is so totally wrong for me. He smokes- I HATE smoking (he says he's quitting in January though). I read, he doesn't. He lives about 40 minutes away now (he used to live 15, but he just moved), across 2 bridges. He never dates women like me- usually it's strippers, manicurists, or hairdressers (I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that). I usually date men who, regardless of their occupation, have had some formal education. He doesn't watch porn. I do- very often. I seem to be more adventurous when it comes to sex than he is.

I don't know. I just don't know. If only I weren't so damn attracted to him.

You feel an attraction to this man, if you did not you would have not called him. You could have called someone else, a close friend but you decided to call him instead so its obvious you still want to interact with this man.
There is nothing wrong with going out with a man simply to go out and have fun. You do not have to make this serious why don't you just enjoy your time with him and if something blossoms between the two of you that is great but if you just want to be with him because you two have a sexual connection then that is good as well.
Do not overthink the situation just do what makes you happy and comfortable. Have fun.
