I've actually consumed aloe juice (I live in California... need I say more?), and it's not half bad.

Aloe Gel that has been in the fridge for a while will take the sting right out of any burn. Trick I learned from a Chef friend. With my clutzy nature I just leave a bottle in there. Works every time. Apply liberally. Like a glob.
