I watched rollerball not long ago and I thought it was a mistake of some kind.....the narrative was choppy and incoherent; it looked like a movie that was over edited....
there was this whole scene in the middle shot in green overlay that made no sense.

It's wierd becuase McTiernan is a competant filmaker. I think they tied him up in the basement after primary filming was over.

I couldn't even tell what this flick was supposed to be about.

I think you are talking about Death to Smoochie with Robin Williams and Ed Norton, yeah that was pretty good. The humor is pretty satiracal. Never thought I would think of the world of Children's television of being so evil underneath.

Thanks, IFB. I thought the editing was really bad, and I couldn't tell what the film was supposed to be about either.

I watched "The Transporter" instead. It wasn't that bad, and the guy in it has a gorgeous body.

I saw "Death to Smoochy" last week and thought it was pretty funny. A few nights after seeing it, I had a dream that the guy I'm dating had the same family as Spinner did. IT was pretty bizarre.

i borrowed the transporter on dvd we were going to watch it ... but the guy playing the hero is actually english and he does a really dodgy fake american accent that puts me off a bit

I thought he was supposed to be English in the movie. He has an English accent in it, not an American one.

The fat-ass getaway driver was a hoot, Brad Pitt was good, and the replica guns vs the Desert Eagle .50 was good, too. The best character was the mean old mobster.

Gonna see it next week on DVD. He (Jason Statham) had an American accent in the movie 'The One' with Jet Li. He definately sounded off.
