As I said several months ago, that does not mean I am now a grandfather of high quality. I have been that for almost twenty years. :D What I mean is that my oldest granddaughter  just gave birth to a healthy daughter. :nana: We just got a phone call from her, and she was very sleepy, so we didn't get any more details than that. :)

Are you ever old. ;)

Congratulations!

Thanks, and thanks, Rob. I'm not any older now than I was a few hours ago. :) I'm 67, if anybody is interested.

Congrats, über-gramps.

Hey, 67 is not all that old. With a little luck, you could get to see even yet a generation.

Congratulations, Box.

Unfortunately, I must now revoke your "sick fuck" title. Great grandfathers are not allowed to be perverts.

Hey, that's not fair. Can I at least be a "prevert"?

Congrats! :) Reminds me of the time I went into a first grade class in an elementary school and one of the kids said, "Look, someone's grandfather." I was thirty. Before you told your age I was going to make a joke about you being 45.

I'm sure that WOULD make him feel old :p

Congratulations, Box ;)

Wow, that is really something. Congratulations! You will need to fill us all in, on the differences between spoiling your grandchildren and the great-grands! What fun! Enjoy!

That news is absolutely, what else, GREAT!

Be sure to pass along details when they're passed along to you.

The problem is that the great-granddaughter is in the Philippines. We probably won't see her or get to spoil her until next year.

Spoiling grandchildren is a lot of fun, though. :D

Oh, wow!! *Hugs* to the Great Grandfather.
I'm so happy for you, Box. Congrats! :nana: :rose:  :catroar:

Congratulations, great-grandfather.

As a fairly recent grandfather, all I can hope for is to become a great-great uncle by the time I reach your age.

I agree that spoiling grandchildren is fun (and irritates the parents).

Congrats! :)

Ya know the last time I saw my father he gave me a photo that was really cool. Five generations of men in the family. Himself, my oldest brother, his oldest son, his oldest son and his newborn son being held by my father.

Although I don't have any association with my family it makes me smile when I look at it. Plus it's kinda wierd know that my nephew is a grandfather, but then again he is only 6 months younger than me.
