I dont necessarily agree with this deal, but it look's inevitable, and I just want to say to any of you that know anyone over there, son's, daughters, cousin's, nieces, nephews whatever.....I hope they come back safely, and alive.

This isnt sarcasm, or the ramblings of a smartassed peacenick.....

Far be it from me to be a peacenick, and the more I think about this deal, I can see that it may be necessary, although I am not totally convinced.

I especially want to send a good vibe to Heavy, and anyone like Heavy who more than likely knows guys over there, who are going to be looking down the barrel of a gun.

Dont be fooled folks. This is not a video game. We all may be a bit desensitized watching this with a bowl of popcorn on CNN, but it's real. It is very real.

Gulf War I had the feel of a video game after the intial shock.

These are real people doing their duty, whether or not you agree.

Your neighbor, your friend, the boy who bagged your groceries years ago may be one of the many men and women putting themselves at risk of life and limb broadcasts pics of lights in the sky and explosions on the ground.

And yes, the Iraqui people are very real, too.

It is too bad that war is often described in terms of numbers. No one is really a number.
