I have got to make a mount for the camera on the front of the bike. (I'm thinking behind the windshield.)

My wife and I are planning on doing some longer rides this season. This month our first will be a mid length ride to my parents place 100 miles north of here. We do not plan on taking the highway up there. Rather we plan on taking Rt. 1 and Rt. A1A up there. This leads through small town Florida and would be interesting to video. (Because it is digital Video I can also pull good stills from it.)

This summer we are planning other rides including ones into both North and South Carolina. Parts of this would be well worth taping as well.

Around here a trip or three around Lake O would be worth taping. Talk about old time Florida. Not to mention a trip or three down to places like South Beach and Palm Beach would be interesting to tape.

I've always wanted to visit that part of the coast. I've even had dreams about it. But the furthest south I've been on the Atlantic is DelMarVa.

point of interest and general curiosity....

How and what does one pack for a road trip on a bike? This is fascinating to me, since I am one of those people that does NOT pack light.
