(ok, last new thread by me for today, I promise)

The other day I have been in the 'erotic' section of our local video store for the very first time. (Believe it or not)

Now the question I'm asking myself is,
'Why can't there be erotic films, i.e. porn movies that actually have a little decency.

I know most people watch porn to get off. But why can't there be a porn movie with an actual story, which more like normal people instead of super-bitches, with a decent name, with logical sex scenes that could very well happen in real life and with some kind of attitude.

But no, it was all just cheap, naughty, filth, some times creepy and sick porn. And that makes up about 1/3 of the entire video store. I think it's crazy.

Sounds like a pretty normal shop to me.

The one in my town doesn't even have the sense to sort the films by category, so you have amateur next to mature, gay next to school girls, and bestiality next to the Top Ten.

I think that porn videos SHOULD be sorted like Lit, that way one could concentrate on the type of movies one fancies, like "Romantic Erotica", "Naughty Boys & Girls", "Mature Love-Making", "Hot Homo-Erotica", and then a room behind a curtain for "Extra Kinky".

That way, only those who really LOOK FOR bestiality and violent porn would see that type of films, and the rest of us could stroll around in a relaxed sensual environment, not a hardcore one.

Oddly enough, I have about 250 porn movies that are copies of the porn section of a German video store. (I set out to copy every movie in the local Video store's Porn section when I was stationed at Spangdahlem AB.) Of course the store I frequented catered to US servicemen and had primarily English language films -- the few "foreign" films were dubbed in English and usually had a plot that was hard for me to follow bcause the dialogue didn't really seem to fit the action very well.

With the exception of Caligula the plots are indeed thin or non-existant, but more than half of them DO have some sort of plot and a couple of them have very good plots and even moderately good acting. The rest are compilations of vignettes and scenes. The three or four movies that I know are German made are among the best as far as plot nd acting are concerned -- the two that I know are French made ar more good for a laugh than they are for plot or arousal factors.

I do recall that the quality of the movie was hard to determine from the pictures and descriptions on the case. In fact, the more "action" the covers touted, the less there seemed to actually be in the movie.

Overall, the plots and content aren't all that much different from the stories here at Literotica -- Lots of "stroke" stories, many moderately good stories with both plot and "action," and a very few exceptional stories with everything you could want in a story of any genre, plus well written erotic content as well. The Porn section I copied -- and porn sections I've visitd since then -- all seem to be the same; there's no way to tell from the cover pictures and blurbs what you'll see when you watch the movie unless it's a sequel of something you've seen before (and even that isn't guarantee of continued quality.)

I agree, porn on screen doesnt really turn me on the way it should to get him hot sex. If it actually had a believable story line it would work, and why not leave just a little to the imagination?

They would sell alot more if that were the case, and all us women would have a library that would put men to shame! lol
