I have'nt seen the script...but man people are really high on this movie, critics, reviewers, everyone. My hopes are high, hopefully not too high.

I enjoyed Episode I in the theatre, even if after looking back it sucked.

I think at worse we will be less disappointed than we were with Episode I. If that's saying anything.

The Clone Wars has been hyped since the very first movie...

I am just going into it with very little expectation...because I know this is the "bridge" movie in the trilogy and we all know what a downer Empire Strikes Back was...

I just hope Jar Jar gets evicerated...

but, that would be too much to hope for...

There's not a whole lot I didn't like about IV, V or VI.

As a stand alone movie no
as a great special effects movie yes
script and character development ....so/so

I don't like trilogies as a rule. The reason: I think its the way to pump the public for more moola in the long run. Writers have books broken up by publishers because they are "too Long" which is just bullshit.

LOTR was a long movie, as was Titanic...you could have combined a lot and still had a great sequel...imho of course

GEEZ! I was SO hyped over this movie, because, almost every person that seen an early glimpes of it said it is MUCH better than Ep 1. A "True" Star Wars movie. LOTS of great action, character development,(for McGregor, anyway.) But, aftwer hearing Roger Ebert's review, and, what you just said, I'm not so sure about how great it's suppose to be, anymore. I just HOPE I'm not disappoointed. I've heard this is kinda like Empire, which, is the best of the original trilogy.

I don't doubt we will be entertained. Is that too high of an expectation of a Star Wars movie? I certainly don't think so.

Well, the action buff in me wants some great action. The critic in me HOPES for some acting. Plus, I just hope the action doesn't get too implausible. I also hope the romance isn't too sappy. And, if it is, I hope that it is only about 5 minutes of the movie. I heard that Jar Jar is only in it for an estimated 5 minutes,(in the book, anyway.) So, that's good news.

I liked Phantom Menace. If it could of had less Jar jar, more action, some better dialouge,(ex-"There's always a bigger fish." What the HELL was up with THAT,?)and, if the character's could of been more developed,(especially Darth Maul,) it would of been just as good as the original movie. But, as a whole, it wasn't as shitty as people say. The action they DID have was amazing. Most of the dialouge was ok. And, I could tell that they couldn't really develop the character's a whole lot, because, it's the 1st movie in the trilogy.
