Anyone used Ashley Madison? Did you have any luck? what works there? if you had success using it

I've used it. My experience is as a man looking for a woman or couple.

They don't delete profiles, so in the beginning it looks like there are a lot of people active. But as you dive into the profiles, you'll see that most haven't been active in YEARS. Of the few that are still active, most of them are bots. I wasn't able to meet with anyone off that site even after expanding my search area out to include some of the larger cities within my state.

Adult Friend Finder is similar, although I had success there one time. But that was almost at least 15 years ago.

I've checked these websites again lately because my wife was interested in finding people to play with. Ashley Madison and AFF still seem to suck. FetLife is better, but still sucks. Swinger sites are your best options, if you are able to get into them. If you aren't in need of privacy, Tinder is your best bet. Stay the fuck off Tinder if you are cheating and don't want to get caught. Some cheaters are just plain stupid and throw their profiles right out there in public.

The most success I've had online with finding actual partners for sex have been Literotica (be ready to travel the globe for sex if you rely solely on Lit) and, believe it or not, Craigslist was by far the best back when they had personals. I've been out of the online dating scene since CL got rid of the personals, so I'm not sure where to direct you nowadays for an affair.

Yeah, AM and AFF had too many fakes, it was frustrating as hell to use. IF I got a reply from a woman it didn’t take too long to figure out they were stringing me along. For some reason I had some good contacts from Canada but they’re too far away for a one night stand or something.

The only thing I saw in Craigslist was hookers and gays.

Save your money and stay away.

Agree with all of the above. The local R4R subreddits on Reddit can be pretty lively, too. They are good for couples looking for a male third.

I did some research and heard that a very high percentage of the female accounts were fakes. Both AM and AFF admit that in their user agreements, that “SOME” fake accounts are added for “entertainment” purposes. I don’t want to be fuckin’ entertained, I want to get laid! 😡

Anyway, I decided to test it on both sites. As a male account I would spend a lot of time going through a hundred or so profiles trying to get a response and only about 5% would respond and only 1% or so would respond past a couple of replies. And none of them were in my area. Never, ever, did I get a first time contact from a woman.

So, I signed up a fake account as a female, came up with some random attributes, a quick “just looking” description, and attached a semi-cute girl’s pic I found on the net somewhere. Within an hour I had a several hits from guys and with 24 hours I had over 30 contacts from guys. No, I never responded to them and quickly closed the account.

Oh, and the female accounts are free whereas the male accounts you had to pay to be able to look at profiles and send PMs.

Fuckin’ scam!

DoubleList now. It's not uniquely affairs-oriented, but it's basically Craigslist personals now that there aren't any on there anymore.

I've played around on Doublelist until they wanted me to start paying for it. It didn't look worth paying for, not in my area at least.

I guess I haven't played with it enough to hit that obstacle.

What do you mean, "they wanted you to start paying for it?" What happened? Were you unable to use it for free afterwards?

I can't get into my account to verify (it says the password is wrong), but as I recall, I was no longer able to get into the site unless I paid.

EDIT: After resetting my password, it seems I'm able to get in without a prompt for payment. I'll play around with it some more to see how it goes.

EDIT 2: After playing around on DoubleList for a little bit, I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not sure what happened before with me hitting a paywall, but for now it seems legit and pretty good!

My experience wasn't good. I was on it for 2 days and some asshole stole my email address then told me about it. I had made no contacts at that point so I had no history other than a few generic chats. Save your money and look for something else. I was able to get a refund but it was painful.
