I have a question!

I am hoping to become "published" here soon enough (and from what I've read in other threads so far, I can take my time so Laurel can get herself caught up!). Within time I hope to have several stories on here. My question is, if I wanted to submit a story with pictures in it, do I have to write it in MS Word or can I still use a Txt file? Thank you for your time.

You can send it as a .txt file attached to an email along with the pics... Just make notes in the body of the story where you want the pics to go, like PIC #1 HERE or something like that.

Try the Writer's Guidelines section. It should tell you what she needs from you to get published faster.
It's buried in Stories and Pics, and in Volunteer Editors.
Maybe Madam will put in a direct link under Stories & Pics....
