Wed-Sunday.

I have two midterms to study for in that time, and a shitload of Greek homework to do, and some Roman Satire homework to do.

I think I'll spend today watching movies (it's ugly and rainy here today), and in between I'll do laundry.

Anyone wanna watch movies with me? We can seat 6 on our couches, and about 15 on the floor. (and in the next room over, we have two beds).

I dunno. I just picked up about a hundred and fifty movies from my parents' house over the weekend, so it'll probably be something either Disney or action (I'm not a drama movie girl).

I'm thinking Under Seige.

Tell me more about the beds!:D

One is our queen-sized bed that his parents bought for us after a month of us dating (grin), and the other is his old bed, which we store extra pillows, blankets, and our teddybears on.

(yes, he's got a bunch of teddybears... he's so cute)

Indeed.

Roman Satire? That sounds like a fun class.

Wish I could join you. :)

TB4p

it's an alright class... the prof is on crack, though. He just... a man THAT unfunny should not be teaching comedy courses! I had him for Greek and Roman Comedy last year and just... BAH!

Jammies and toe socks are great, but for today, I actually have to get work done, when I get off my ass, away from the computer.

I have to read and translate two chapters of Greek, and then I have to prepare a presentation on a Roman Satire, and then I have to study for two midterms.

I figure if I get the first two done today, and then work on the other two over the weekend, I should be okay.

Well then get on it so you have it out of the way.

So.

It's been about an hour and a half of homework, and all I got done was translating 10 sentences from English into Greek.

I still have to translate 3 pages of Greek into English (which is the easy part, so it's not SO bad).

bah.

Greek.

It's ALL Greek to me (groan!)

*giggle*

On my first day of university in first year, one of my professors read to us in Greek from Homer's Iliad.

When she was done, I turned to the person next to me, and muttered 'hell, it was all Greek to me'.

She didn't get it.

The person on the other side of me did, though, and cracked up.

She's right, that or "continuous improvement." It's part of an old samuria proverb that was adapted by the Japanese in the 80s to explain their manufacturing prowess.

Later on, business schools propagated the term, describing a management/business style.

Not sure but it was good for me.

Once again, i'm wearing a skirt with no panties. Granted, it's a long skirt... but it makes my hips look really great.
