?? Everyone is invited! Even if you want to flame people! The point with trolls would be that they flame people without using their "normal" identity. Even if we all hide behind fake names anyway, a certain personality is associated with the image you create for yourself on the board. Some who want to step outside that image become trolls.

I still like the old thread about the saying in the UK- "get thee to conventry". Kind of a no man's land, a perfect place for trolls to be banished to. I've more or less adopted that as my response to all trolls.

I appreciate the reponses. Thanks, I didn't know what a troll was. I now understand what you are talking about. I think my ignorance and perhaps envey got the best of me. Friends do help each other and the longer you've been around I'm sure the closer you get. My words are not up to speed with the "Masters" of the language, I'll practice. I'm inpressed with the fact that people here really know how to read and write. Hopefully I'll get better. I will learn to choose my words and better express myself. Thanks again for the enlightenment and I appreciate the kindness.

But CelestialBody, don't you know that what you might call the most prominent members of this board have used "guest names" on occasion? That's not a troll. A troll is one who uses a "fake name" to be mean-spirited and vicious. I have never done that. I have no problem using my "real name" to be a bitch. I use a "guest name" to be amusing and part of the amusement is to do it such that certain someones know it's me. LOL! Lasher knows every time. In fact, I would have no problem admitting every "guest name" I ever used. It's not something I'm ashamed of.

Most of you who posted on this thread wouldn't know a real troll if it came up behind you and bit you on the ass.

I agree with Deborah, a Troll is someone that is mean spirited and nasty. Deborah does that quite well under her own name (hey just being truthful LOL).

I have used a "Guest" name too, but all in fun and I'm pretty sure you would all know it's me anyway. If your going to be fun and have fun with that name (maybe even register that name as to do that) then there's nothing wrong with it.

Ramlicks Troll for instance ... Nice Troll that has fun along the way, I'm pretty sure that I know who this is, and well I love that person anyway (if it's whom I think it is).

Guest and Guh well their just nasty people that are afraid to show themselves and speak their mind to a bunch of people that lets face it will probably never meet. So why be so afraid? Who know's and truthfully who Cares?

I have been told on more than one ocasion that I need to find my own Husband and stop being a slut, this even prompted someone I think a hell of a lot about to write to me and tell me that it wasn't them writing this down. Sadly at one stage I had thought it was, I now feel guilty for thinking that way.

Trolls are what you make them, have fun with the fun ones and ignore the bad ones. Laurel has said on many ocassions to ignore them and they soon leave. By answering them your boosting their ego's, so just ignore them.

Having said that, if you feel the need to answer a Troll talk to Ramlick's Troll, have fun and feed it lots.

Nikki is a troll. She trolled the other day on Slut_boy's "Our Aussie friends" thread as "Wombat Friend." OK, so I trolled as "Playing Possum." Big fucking deal. It was only meant in the spirit of fun.

BTW, Slut_boy, if you are listening, "playing possum" is an expression which means "I got a headache" if you get my drift. So what I said was a compliment. Who could play possum with you?

To answer your question Purple Haze, a troll is Leah=Athos=Raven=Patryn=Grey=Detective=numerous other registered identities and also numerous unregistered "guest" names used to stir up holy fucking shit and be mean as a snake.

I'm not sure you realize that who you think I am is not who I am. However, if you believe I am who you think I'm not, then no harm is done by believing you know who you think I am even though I am not that person.

Think about it. Someone posted some stupid ass thread a few months back about penis pumps. I posted as Austin Powers "That's not my bag, baby"... Pretty damn funny, huh? Wouldn't have been the same if I had done it as Lasher... Soon as you see the name Austin Powers you know to add the accent and blah, blah, blah...

And don't fuck with Deborah, lol. While everyone else sits around bitching and whining and moaning, she goes out and CATCHES the little bastards. You all should be thanking her.
