If anyone remembers me grousing about it, a few months ago my truck was burglarized twice. Now, someone has come along and slashed the tires. In my driveway. Again. In broad fucking daylight.

I'm not normally an overly emotional person, but I am on the verge of tears, here. We cannot afford this. We couldn't afford it before. It's like we're constantly being beat down. And the cops won't do anything to help us. It's not enough that I'm trying to get through school and we're trying to survive on what meager income we have, we have medical needs that we can't afford to meet, and bills that we can't afford to pay . . . now someone decides ONCE AGAIN to fuck with the only vehicle we have between the two of us. It's an old vehicle too, folks. It's not like it's some great ride. It's a 1987 GMC Jimmy. It barely runs. And, J. works out of town.

I've had the truck, lately, and he's been carpooling to work and taking the truck back in the evening, to get overtime that's only being offered for three weeks. Now, we can't afford a new tire for him to be able to make it to work to make some overtime so we might be able to fix our car that was demolished by a deer. That, and we need to save money so we can move this summer so that I can continue my education and that may not happen and I don't want to be trapped here!!!!! *hyperventilating* [/rant]

Hate it when that happens. My car's been broken into TWICE. I was sooooooooo close to putting up a little "Already robbed, move along" sign in the window...
And it wasn't as if my car was a very expensive car worth breaking into! I didn't have no car radio nor anything valuable in the glove compartment. They just broke the lock and destroyed the whatever-you-call-you-it-in-English, where you stick the key in to start the engine.
People are morons. Period.
