moonrise kingdom opens on the 25th nowhere close to me. in fact, so far the closest theatre i've found that will be playing it is in evanston, illinois on the 31st at midnight. damn you, america. why can't you have better taste?

i live in a state with almost ten million of them last i checked.

I live in a state with nearly forty million. It's not relevant though. How big is your city? If you want to get limited release stuff you have to live in a city that people who've never been to your state recognize. Otherwise you're a crazy hermit person who will never get to see limited release films.

i'm not going to spell this out for you. i live in the eighth most populous state in the union and the movie aint coming here this month and i'm not going two hundred miles to watch a midnight movie.

Population of your state is irrelevent. Population of your CITY is not. I live in the MOST populated state but in the suburbs. I rarely get limited releases either. I can move to LA, move to San Diego or I can cry about it.

It's the first Wes Anderson film I'm actually looking forward to seeing, based on the plot & actors.

I thought Rushmore was trite. Nicely nuanced, but still trite.

you're an idiot.

Damn. I'm within a couple hours of some decent-sized cities, and I'd still have to drive at least 1000 miles to see the thing. That blows ass.

Looks like some good stuff, though.

No fucking way. You'd have to live in like. . .Alaska for that to be true.
