Along those lines, I hate when people want to arrive right on time or a few minutes late instead of arriving 5-10 minutes early.

Yesterday...my FIL...who is blind with partial hearing deficit was treated so badly...hurt me...he is such a sweetheart...

Generally speaking though...I just find it more rare now to meet with genuine compassion and empathy...the world is alot colder ...

It really shows how far we've fallen as a society that something as basic as empathy needs to be taught. People are so insular and self-regarding, it doesn't even occur to them to think that their actions might have consequences (and then, when they're faced with those consequences, they try to ignore them).

Agreed. Thats why I have that stuff disabled. If they seem interesting, I can look at the profile myself.
