They're just body mechanics, organic chemists.

Now about that lawyer thread and those of you who were kind enough to help me in my difficulty:

I hold the conviction that

It is an almost universal truth of human nature that “I hate” equals, “I hurt” which is often “I have a very personal difficulty……”

Therefore, “I hate lawyers.” is not a statement about lawyers, but a personal statement about the fact that I, without a lawyer, have sued a big Insurance Company: it’s been taken out of my hands by lawyers and I project my sense of powerlessness, my frustration onto this profession whom many of you defend so admirably.

I am always more comfortable when I am in control.

That I hate doctors isn't really the case. I'd be dead by now without them - so would my twins.

I do, however, have an allergic reaction to anyone who creates dependencies and I feel many professional bodies are prone to do just that.[

I hate smugness. I love to tear it down. Most pros give you that I know more shit than you attitude. Teachers included. Not this one.

No reason for it. Too often they don't know who they are talking to, or their level of education or intelligence.

Spot on sch00lteach.

How are you feeling today?

Yes, a lot of professionals are like the priests of old.

I'm alive, moving, and here, so I guess I can't complain.

I think it is just human nature. It is why I got out of the military. I might have been in longer, seen more shit, been in more shit. But give a guy four years of college and automatically he was going to be my superior and I had to salute him. I just couldn't take it anymore.

I remembered that when I got my degrees. Just paper man. Don't mean nothin'.
