i can't shake the dream i had last night ... and i am having a horrible depressing day today ...

it is difficult for me to work ... cause that's all i keep thinking about ... and all day i have been holding back tears ... and sometimes not very successfully ...

i keep trying to think about other stuff ... trying to take my mind off of the sadness that encompasses me ...

I talked to him then
he did not mind
that I was asleep
in fact that is
the only time he
allows me a peak

Hugs and kisses. Remember, this too shall pass!:)

Aww, honey. Maybe it'd help if you'd talk about it. I've had many a dreams like that... scary ones too. Your mind can do awful things to you... I always felt that if I talked about it, at least I got it our of my system. Then people could help me out more. It'll be all right, babes.

I had a dream where a big ass bear broke down my wall and was gonna attack me and I just had my Bo with me. Weird thing is that the bear could move and think like a human. Weird I tell ya!

I've always loved the expression "I had too much to dream last night" - but I'm sorry that your dream has not been a good one.

*hugging you tight*

I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night)
THE ELECTRIC PRUNES
(Annette Tucker - Nancy Mantz)

Last night your shadow fell upon my lonely room
I touched your golden hair and tasted your perfume
Your eyes were filled with love the way they used to be
Your gentle hand reached out to comfort me
Then came the dawn
And you were gone
You were gone, gone, gone
I had too much to dream last night
Too much to dream
I'm not ready to face the light
I had too much to dream
Last night
Last night

The room was empty as I staggered from my bed
I could not bear the image racing through my head
You were so real that I could feel your eagerness
And when you raised your lips for me to kiss
Came the dawn
And you were gone
You were gone, gone, gone

Oh, too much to dream
Oh, too much to dream
Too much to dream last night
Oh, too much to dream

Isabella...
"The best thing for being sad," replied Merlin, beginning to puff and blow, "is to learn something. That's the only thing that never fails.

You may grow old and trembling in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see the world about you devastated by evil lunatics, or know your honour trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it then - to learn.

Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting. Learning is the only thing for you. Look what a lot of things there are to learn."

T.H. White, "The Once and Future King"
Be well, dear one, take your mind to other things. Dreams are of our subconscious processing what has transpired, not a bell-wether, and while they may be remarkably vivid as mine were last night, they are not reason to fret. :rose:

Great pics, shybabe!

Think about where you park...
Well those people shybabe pointed us to moved the links to their pics to spite me so you'll just have to go look there yourself.

Heartless cretins ;) how much load do we place on their server when a few people open this page?

Ah, dear tart, mostly not my own words, but it's gratifying to know the post lent you something useful. I count any day where I've made a positive impact on one person a success.

The beauty of your admission here, and the string of replies you evoked, is that by letting it out into the light you have potentially helped another to overcome their own battle with sadness. They may realize that a hug or talking about it will vanquish the issue just by reading the first few, they may find something in the quote of Merlin's lecture from T.H.White, or Dillinger's, or cibo's description... or they may take heart in realizing that if they allow others to see their woe that some will rally to try to help.

Thank you for sharing. Posts at Lit linger in ways that often spread the information to others well beyond what we realize will happen as we hit that submit button.
