I Guess I'm Back!

Thank you AH friends, so many of you, who have expressed care and concern over my family tragedy. We lost my brother in late July after a brief and horrible battle with cancer. This isn't a secret, though I haven't talked about it very much.

Of course we're all dealing with everything. I seem to have retained most of the anger, especially when I look at his young kids. And of course I haven't been able to write a thing for almost 8 months now.

BUT - I finally did.

It's an erotic poem - not too long. If you have a moment to spare, please give it a look?

Twas the Day After Christmas

Anyway - I feel reborn - or something!

Or as my husband said when he gave me a big hug this morning, "You're back."

Guess I am!

Perdita - thank you so much for your support before and your sweet comments on my poem.

I honestly feel as if some huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders - is that wrong? Maybe I had to get through the awful holidays before I could start again.

I have hard copies of ten mostly-written stories sitting in a box. I hope this means I can do something about those pretty soon.

I can't believe I was feeling so nervous about submitting something. (Like a damn virgin all over again - it had just been so long!)

But now I am very relieved!
