I never paid any attention to, nor did I care about: RINGTONES.......The prevarecation of the damned things only validated my contempt for the damned things.....Until a coworker proudly showed us his ringtone: the bosun's whistle and communcator crackle from the original star trek series.......Now I'm jealous.....Nothing, nothing worse than 'ringtone envy'.......

You have to go to the link and read the blog where I found it, it's hilarious. I don't even have a cell phone, and my regular phone just does a warble that is piercing enough that I can hear it in the next room. When I do get a cell phone eventually, I suspect I'll leave on vibrate - I was just thinking how funny it would be if you had this particular ringtone going off in certain places.

Most people don't even have landlines anymore. We do, but only because we got a great deal from our cable company ($8/month), and it keeps my eight-year-old from losing my phone. Otherwise, we wouldn't have it. Don't need it.

I never go anywhere because of the kids, I really don't need one I basically live where I work - with my youngest starting middle school and entering his rebellious years, I suppose I'll have to get one so I can keep track of him when he starts catting about - I'd like to install that ringtone on his phone, just a reminder...

If you're not set up for computer transfer, just hold your phone up to it and record it like you were recording a message to yourself. Then set it as your ring tone.

It's Flash, so I imagine you'd have to record it - unless you get it straight from Microshaft.

I recorded a ringtone to my cell phone. I just played it over the computer speakers and recorded it into my phone like I was dictating a memo to myself - using the record a message to yourself function. Then I set that sound file as my ringtone.
