One of the comments on my latest story was that I had "good grammar"! (I am now beaming with pride). My English teachers would be so happy (they despaired of me and my grammar, not to mention my spelling).

Then again...the commentor might have been grading on a curve

Nice to get a positive comment- was it an erotic story? Cos it seems a shame that they read an erotic story through and went - wow - that was one heck of a read -what sexy sexy grammar!

I've become such a grammar nazi.

The current H&R Block commercial grates on me like fingernails on a chalkboard when it says, "You got people."

It was an erotic story, but apparently I described the sex in a grammatically correct manner.

Remember, it's not: "He had a huge cock, which he fucked me with," it's "He had a huge cock with which he fucked me."

Or, if you wanna shed those pesky "to be" verbs that make prose duller than dirt:

"He fucked me with his huge cock."

Guys, don't be so antsy.

If 'grammer' has become a criterion for judging a story we should all be pleased - don't knock it.

At the very least, it is a compliment and does require that the reader have some understanding of the concept of English grammar, which is encouraging.

There are some grammatical errors up with which he would not put........Carney

Would it be grammatically correct to say "He had a huge cock with which he fucked me." "Literally."

(?)

Absolutely! Honestly, I am pleased. I work pretty hard to make sure my grammar, punctuation and spelling are right. It's nice to have someone notice. I feel like I finally got that illusive gold star from the teacher. :D

Maybe I'll enter a spelling bee.

Yes there are!

I got commented on mine once. Mostly the reader was pleased there was no 'squick' factor.

There could be, but they aren't reading my stories....

it's sort of a cross between "squeamish" and "ick." :D

Thanks for clearing that up, Warrior womyn.

Cool AV, BTW.
