My writing is picking up again. I posted a frustration thread here a while ago, and that's finally passed. I think I'm doing my best shit yet right now.

I've been struggling to get a Summer Lovin' story done on time. I've started three different stories, but I'm having a hard time getting anything finished, at least that's worth reading.

Rather than drive myself crazy, I decided to write something else. Now I'm working on another 'Breeding Bull' story, and it's going pretty well. Probably because there's no deadline and they're kind of fun to write, the words are finally flowing.

I've had similar difficulty in the last several months, having not published anything since December. I've started at least three stories since then only to lose interest halfway through. Yesterday, I finally submitted a story that I wouldn't let myself give up on, then jumped right into starting another that I feel really good about.

I go though waves of "fire" all the time.

Write a story, then a drought. Sometimes for days. Sometimes weeks.

Then all of a sudden BAM, something clicks, and I'm off again.

I think that's pretty normal, actually.
