I'm thinking of going with Verizon DSL because they are giving a free PC camera with it. I received a pretty good offer for cable modem a couple of months ago and have been spoiled ever since. I downloaded a wallpaper in about 15 seconds and my friend was downloading the same thing at the time on her dial-up. It took her about an hour to get it done.

You're right, NSW. I lose my service everytime it rains.
And God forebid if you ever pick up a computer virus. I had a virus that infected 3 of my files and the driver of my cable modem. I had to call the cable company to come and install a network in my system.
