I got a promotion!

I attended my meeting this morning and at the end of it, my boss gave me a promotion and a signifigant raise. Whoo hoo! I am blissful. Now, since the techs are doing data conversions and schtuff, I have most of the day to myself, plus most of tomorrow to myself. I had some fantastic coffee this morning (Brazillian Bourbon Santos), a perfect breakfast (a croissant with cream cheese and fresh strawberries), I made my presentation and everybody luuuuuuuved it.

My boss has no problem with me taking my work on my trip to Iceland as long as I send him postcards and coins because he collects them.

My fiance (who evidently already knew I was getting a promotion and fat raise) sent flowers to my hotel room. I just finished a really good book (Mortal Fear, by Greg Iles) and I am having a good hair day.

Life is good.
