she's only 12..

sad day today.. my baby is no longer a baby..

reality has set in..

Just tired from all the mouse loving.

:(

Anyway...

Thats exactly how I felt when my little sister turned twelve a little while ago. Now all I hear about when she calls (which is less and less by the way) is boys and if I will come over and do her hair.

No please dont say that,my daughter turns 12 in June.....ahh I feel old already.

wait

to the day when you're doing the laundry and you find your fifteen-year old's thongs in the wash--wanna feel old?

Mellon Collie, is that the real you in that photo? Very pretty.

You young'uns have a long ways to go - why when I was your age, I had to walk through the snow barefoot to school, ten miles each way, carrying my little brother on my back! :D

BTW, my daughter is 27 and is chomping at the bitt to give me grandchildren - so there, hah! You won't truly feel old until someone calls you Grandma or Grandpa, or better yet, Great-Grandpa or Great-Grandma

Remember to pull your toungue out of your cheek before chewing. :p

I have a 7 yo graddaughter who is already giving the "I'm grown up" speech about some things.

I've discovered that there are certain landmarks in one's life that make you feel old -- until the next one makes you feel even older.

Wait until you get a co-worker who wasn't born when you started working -- Then you can feel old!

I thought you were older than 18 tho.. ;)

hey.. it could be worse.. my mom feels extremely old knowing that she gets to help out with her grandson's school parties as a helper mom.. and she knows the whole time she's there that she's got over 25 years of experience and she's on her second time around now

so be happy she's 12 and saying she's grown up and its not your grandkid that's growing up

Exactly!

ok... let me explain... she is one of my middle children..

I have a son who is almost 15.. this didn't bother me..

My 12 year old daughter starting her period did..

You don't notice when your son hits puberty as much as you do when your daughter does.

Maybe it's me.. but I can handle my son growing up.. I can't handle my daughter doing it.

She's soooooo young.. :(

I felt old when the kids I used to babysit became the age I was when I started watching them at! And then he started WORKING with me!!!!!!!!!!! Haaaaaaaaaaaaa

you are not old until your youngest gets their driver's license.
My kids are 28,25 19 and 15.
my 7 yr. old grandson does the same as thing as Weird Harold's granddaughter.
But I am not old,really.
