Lots of things!

The smoothness of the keys under my fingers, the soft fur of one of the cats rubbing my ankle, carpet squishing beneath my toes, the cool blast of the air conditioner on the back of my neck, and a few other things.

What do you feel?

"Pretty, oh so pretty..."

ok so I feel like crap, but I thought singing might cheer me up...
didn't... harumph...

back to the cave...

Tired...
Very tired...

... my head is banging away like a rampant tomcat and, right now, nothing seems to touch it. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

:p

Sticky and stinky. Waiting for a delivery that I MUST be in attendance to receive, and knowing -- just KNOWING -- if I hit the shower, the doorbell will ring and because I don't answer, they won't deliver the tile.

*sigh* One of those "Sometime Friday" deliveries....

The graceful sweep of a wireless optical mouse...
The odd roughness of a wood palmrest for ergonomic support...
Slight tenseness in shoulders and neck...
The humid stickiness of skin against a faux-leather seat...

Panic, nausea, distress, fear.

Over cats who aren't even my pets.

I hate this small fucking town and the arrogant, narcissisitic redneck bullies who run it. Anyone who can do me a favor, go to this link

http://www.monticellojeffersonfl.com/

And send an email voicing sheer outrage that a city hall official would be so fucking inesensitive and sadistic as to tell a distraught pet owner who was calling to retrieve the cats that had been illegally trapped by her neighbor had been euthanized as soon as they were in his hands. These are two beautiful, well-mannered, spayed females, with proper licenses and all shots up to date- which he knew because the owner had come down and bought those new tags LAST FUCKING WEEK!

His name is Don Anderson, and he is an unmitigated bastard, in my opinion. He thought it was perfectly all right to joke with his workers about stabbing my dog in front of my children, and I just had to give my neighbor a tranquilizer and put her to bed- she's been trying all day to get her cats back safely.

Ahhh *nods* much sympathy flying your way  Gaviscon will be your new (evil tasting) best friend :)

I'm feeling healthy, indulgent, impatient, tired, the soft cool leather unde my foot, the hard click of the keyboard, the strap of my bra slipping down my arm...

I feel...that the lime juice, red pepper flakes, black pepper and garlic that I put in the Italian Wedding Soup I'm eating...were good additions. My tongue and sinuses feel every bit of them.

I feel....in awe, overjoyed by the level of trust two very special ladies of the AH have bestowed on me. :rose:

I feel.....loved, appreciated, listened to and understood by these same two special ladies.

I feel...that I should shout on the rooftops how proud and honoured I am that they thought of me. :rose:

I feel....thankful that I haven't given up hope in humanity and people. :rose:

I feel a persistant (yet slowly fading) pounding in my skull that lingers despite the fact that I've taken the most powerful migraine meds available. I feel the heat slapping the hell out of me, even though it's well past midnight.

I felt an ant on my bicep when I sat down. I don't know how it got so far up my arm before I noticed it, but it did...

the heat of the laptop, the cool of the breeze and the relaxation of the coming weekend.

Ooh, yeah! ;)

There's a nice breeze going on here, but it's still hot as hell, and it's only 10am. Time to put on the AC again.
