Thanks. Well, it just sounded like a good plan for me. Since my ignore list has held people that at one point I couldn't stand, but now actually like (well, sometimes), even if I differ with them, there's a chance that my harsh view of these 3 might change in time. A slim chance, but still one so far. I'm giving them a 2nd chance.

Actually, only of them is an AHer. That's Couture. The other two are GBers, Sean H. and morewickedfun.

I've only had one on my ignore list and that was Brinnie. She's still there and I'm gonna keep her there, whether she's gone or not.

I'm on at least one that I know of, and I'd just as soon stay on it because I don't have much use for her either. I may be on some others that I don't know of. Their loss, as far as I'm concerned.

I find it difficult to put people on ignore. I prefer to just get it all out in the open, and have a fireworks display so that things settle down once and for all.

What was it about Brinnie that was really odd again? I've forgotten.

I've never been too sure what the ignore list is for or how it works. Does it block posts, PMs or both? Blocking posts is problematical as others may quote parts of the post that was originally blocked.

If there is someone whose posts I don't normally agree with or am not interested in reading, I'll skip over them. If I can't help myself from reading and they get me all worked up, I tend to get up and walk away to keep myself from responding in the heat of the moment. Doesn't happen very often, though, as I tend to avoid the political or particularly emotionally charged threads.

In my case, it was because she had this really nasty site of brown showers and used to post it randomly on threads. It was so gross I put her on ignore to avoid looking at it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have. I can tolerate stupdity and vituperation, even if I don't like it.

You see their name, but their post is blocked. It also blocks the threads they start so you don't see them at all. I have two on my list and they will stay forever. I don't have the time or inclination to deal with assholes, so I refuse to tempt myself. I'm sure they haven't even noticed I don't respond to them so it doesn't hurt anyone. Keeps my temperature from rising, which is good. Unlike Selena, I have very healthy boundaries.

Brinnie wasn't so bad. She was just a kid who needed too much attention and didn't know who she was. Aside from the ignorant pictures, I think she actually added a little color to the place.

As for the ignore list, I've never used mine. Might not even be able to figure it out if I wanted to use it. Never even tried.

Am I on anyone's ignore list? Dunno. I don't think, as much as some people don't like me or some of the things I post, that many people feel there's reason to. I don't really post much, and I'm not overly offensive, unless you consider someone not kissing your ass and telling you you're right offensive.

To be honest, there is one person that I still feel like ignoring. I'm still pissed at her, and it has been over half a year. As mad as I got at Couture, even he/she didn't piss me off like that. My hate is difficult to earn and even harder to lose. But it IS an amnesty, so it has to include her too.

I don't know this Brinnie person, but I have a weak stomach for scat, so I'd have to ignore her if she came back. I like the idea about the interracial porn and the racists, by the way.

I've taken two people off my ignore list.

One, they apologised to me, the other I apologised to them. Both were in response to Colleen's passing.

One I get along with fine now. The other is on virtual ignore as I regard them as a one trick pony.

The rest stay, they're scum. And I couldn't be bothered to even skip past their posts.
