So - here is all "I think" I know - just from gleaning (and never before really carring about the subject) everyday life information....

Steroids are some sort of, "chemical/hormonal/synthetic" product -that once injested and then, "when stimulated," (by working out?) aids, "that chemical," (the one that "pumps you up" and I don't know the name of) to, "flow more," somehow, into your muscle tissue - and consequently, your muscles get bigger - faster.

Told you I didn't know shit about this.

The actual, factual details of the sketchy picture I have of steroids above - well, I would find that interesting. But even more interesting than that, I would like these questions answered......

1) Are there gender specific steroids? Examples?
2) Are there muscle/performance specific steroids? Examples?
3) Can someone provide any non-lengthy legal details regarding steroid purchase and use in various parts of our planet?
4) Considering abuse (taking too much/too often) to be a given risk - what is some or the factual data regarding non-abuse benefits and and/or negative side-effects?
5) Examples of costs please?
6) It seems to me that there are many - many kinds/brands - how come? Are any better/safer than others?
7) What's the "routine?" What? Do you just take them and act normal and get bigger? Must you work out?

So you see - I have no clue......

I'm hoping somebody here can fill me in.

Thanks.

I think you have the gist of much of it.

They are a compound of hormones and chemicals. Often they are used for legitimate medical purposes to treat certain illnesses. But also, when taken over a long period of time in conjunction with working out, they produce more muscle mass and more tendencies towards quick, violent anger, with corresponding tendencies towards acne and smaller penis size

It is now common for doctors to inject steroids into a fetus when they think there may be a chance of premature delivery. They think the steroids help develop muscles, lungs, etc. to insure healthier premies.

Steroids are also given to people with thyroid problems, heart problems, and breathing problems. Once on steroids, the person has to be weened off them over a long peroid of time, these are not one of the drugs you just stop taking. The body goes into a type of shock if stopped immediately. Also, once a person takes steroids for long peroids of time, the body seems to not be able to manage on its own once they are stopped, hence usually long term usage of such.

Just the info I know about them.

So, what your saying is......

That - regarding males...... all the various "types" and "kinds" of steroids - "all of'em" - shrink or inhibit - penis size???

In infants (my premature, former twin, son got them) when the inject them - does this limit "their" penis size?

When "weened off" as you all indicate - does male penis size go back to normal?

How about women - does their clitoris get smaller?

Why when women take steroids for muscle growth - do they grow hair and men - loose hair?

Do women get violently mad when using too?

So - these wrestler's - WWF/WCW types? They had bigger nuts then they do now? You think many of'em where cod-peices? If not - some of those dudes formerly packed a very lot of heat.

What happens if you say - half the dose? Less side effects? Less muscle mass increase? Less violent madness? Less penis shrinkage?

Surely - they "the mad scientists" must be perfecting these things - and therefore the ones in popular use today - are better (less negative side effects) than previous ones.

You think Schwartzenegger still uses?

What about non-bulky muscle types who use steroids? Don't some Track and Field, Swimmers, Divers, Triatheletes and many other sports types of all body shapes and sizes - use steroids?

There, as you see - I still have many unanswered questions. I'll bet many of you are curious too.

Is all this some sort of a secret - kept by users?

And what about prices? What's it take to become the Terminator? Even with a small pee-pee.

bone loss

Steroids also are a prime risk factor for osteoporosis in men.
