Not that anyone cares...but I finally cut my hair and I am bored so I thought I would make a thread... I will show before and after pictures. I got 9" cut off...it made this strange THWACK when it hit the floor. I almost cried. But I feel so much better and it is sooo healthy. Change is good.

I used to have my hair that long, (a long time ago) I often got headaches. Once I cut a great deal of it off, the headaches stopped. Just like I still can't wear my hair up in a ponytail or anything for too long. Weird huh?

i can relate to how hard it was to cut your hair, mine is down to my butt, and while the ends look pretty bad, i'm just having a hard time dealing with the idea of cutting it... but after seeing your before and after pics, i must say... it looks beautiful! i'm feeling a little less timid about the scissor now.. ~*lol*~

Summery I get ponytail headaches too...the worst is when you take it down and your scalp hurts...OUCH!

This is taking getting used to tho...I got in the shower and went to goop on my normal BLOBS of shampoo and conditioner and realized I dont need NEAR as much anymore.

I had grown out my hair down to my waist. God it was a pain in the butt! Not to mention the MIRGRAINES! I gave up & chopped it off to little longer than shoulder length.

The Beautician ask if she could donate my hair, which was like a foot's worth in length to charity. I think it was the one that makes wigs for people going under Kemo therapy.

i must say, that with hair as long as mine, i don't get headaches from it, and i almost always have it pulled up... and it's never bothered me.
